The music community here in Springfield reaches beyond the musicians and songwriters and includes our friends who own and work at bars and breweries and restaurants that regularly host live music. When the Coronavirus pandemic hit our corner of Missouri, we were all left hurting, musicians and venues alike.

A few of us wondered if we might be able to do something to help the venues we love. Something to make sure our favorite places to play are still here when the dust settles. This collection of songs came from that hope. It’s being made available exclusively through these venues during the crisis. (I’m writing this on March 24, 2020. We’re in the thick of it.)

These songs were recorded live (with no audience) at Lindberg’s Tavern on March 23, 2020. We recorded one or two people at a time with acoustic instruments, playing and singing into an empty room. We’re anxious to play these songs in front of people again. We can’t wait to see our friends at shows and get to stand next to each other, shake hands, buy each other beers. We can’t wait to see you.

So when the dust does settle, come find us at one of these venues.
We’ll play our songs for you.
